On April 11, 2026, Jam de la FEM returns with b-girl and female stand-up dance battles! This time at Theater aan de Parade in Den Bosch. A day where women from hip-hop culture come together to dance, connect, and above all: empower each other!
Jam de la FEM. A platform and dance battle where street culture and female power are celebrated. FEM stands for Female Movement, with a mission to bring women to the front line of the scene. Street culture may often be dominated by men, but the ladies bring just as much fire. Jam de la FEM is the stage for that feminine energy – out of love for the culture and the female movement. It’s not just a jam, it’s a statement!
Jam de la FEM is accessible to everyone who’s up for dance, music, and good vibes. The dance battles are for female dancers, but everyone (yes, men too) is welcome to watch, support, and jump in to jam along in between the battles.
For the best fashion finds and unique handmade treasures, make sure to check out our FEM Market. From bold streetwear pieces and accessories to one-of-a-kind handmade items, this is the place where creativity and culture meet. Support and connect with women-led brands and makers from the hip-hop scene while discovering pieces that reflect your style, your values, and the culture you move in. Often things you didn’t even know you needed, but won’t want to leave without.
Jam de la FEM takes place at Theater aan de Parade, located in the heart of Den Bosch. The event is hosted in the Pleinzaal.
The venue is easy to reach by public transport. From ’s-Hertogenbosch Central Station, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the theatre. You can also take a bus from the station toward the city center; several bus lines stop nearby at Parade or Sint-Jan, just a short walk from the venue.
Coming by car? We recommend parking at Parking Garage Sint-Jan, located within walking distance of the theatre.

All battles at Jam de la FEM are one-on-one battles. Dancers compete in two categories: B-Girls and Stand Up (all styles). Each category is divided by age. The first program starts in the morning and is for dancers up to 14 years old, and the afternoon program is open to all ages.
The battles are specifically created for girls, women, and female-identifying dancers. Jam de la FEM exists to give space, spotlight and voice to women within hip-hop culture. We deeply respect everyone in the scene, including men. But the battle floor itself is reserved for female movement.
Not at all. Everyone is welcome, no matter your level or experience. Whether you’re stepping into your first battle or you’ve been in the cypher for years, Jam de la FEM is about growth, expression, and showing up as you are.
Absolutely! Everyone is welcome to attend Jam de la FEM. While the battles are for female dancers, the event is open to all: friends, family, supporters, and allies. Come watch, cheer, connect, and join the jam moments throughout the day.
Tickets can be purchased online in advance HERE or at the door on the day of the event. Please note: cash payments are not possible. Payment is card only.
Registration opens at 11:00 AM the day itself, when the doors open. If you arrive later, no stress: registration stays open throughout the entire day, so you can sign up whenever you’re ready.
Yes! In both age categories there are prizes to be won. Winners in all categories receive custom-made awards, created especially for Jam de la FEM.
In addition, in the All Ages categories, dancers can also win prize money.
But beyond prizes, Jam de la FEM is about recognition, visibility, and celebrating female power within hip-hop culture.
